CINI Insulation Supervision & Inspections

CINI, Committee on Industrial Insulation, was established in the late 1980s in response to the great need in the market for standardised quality standards for industrial insulation.  CINI is working towards an internationally recognised manual and guide for technical insulation.  The CINI objective is to promote the quality and knowledge of everything related to insulation, both in its study, application and maintenance.  CINI brings together specialists in thermal (hot / cold / cryogenic) and acoustic insulation, shares knowledge and sets quality conditions that insulation systems should meet.  It also describes typical methods of insulation & finishing constructions, which, based on practical experience, reduce the risks of C.U.I. (Corrosion Under Insulation).  These quality conditions and practices of good workmanship are compiled in the CINI handbook, which is refined and expanded annually.

Since May 2017, Dries Van den Bergh has been a certified CINI Insulation Inspector for Industry.  In November 2018, he additionally successfully completed the ‘CINI Cryogenic Insulation course'.  Eco Services BV has made itself available to provide insulation courses for the NCTI (Nederlands Centrum Technische Isolatie) since 2020 until NCTI ceased operations in 2022.  Since then, Eco Services BV has been supporting CINI Academy (Academy - CINI) by providing, among others, the ‘CINI Knowledge Insulation Course’ as well as ‘customised insulation courses’.

Eco Services BV can carry out independent industrial insulation inspections for customers, insulation and/or EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) contractors, for material suppliers as well as for certification institutes or third parties.  Quality inspections, with or without a dispute, are necessary to meet customer requirements and prevent future insulation and/or installation defects.

In addition, Eco Services BV supports customers in their insulation work, project supervision & quality inspections.  Our specialism therefore lies in advising, monitoring and inspecting insulation applications in industrial projects.
